Communication is key to a happy marriage, you need to be asking your spouse how they are, how they're feeling, how their day has been every single day! Show some interest! Don't just agree with what your spouse is saying either, have an opinion, respect your partners, have a conversation!

Surprise your spouse every once in a while, let them know you appreciate the things they do for you and your family. It could be something like buying flowers out of the blue.
